HISTORY

Today someone can tell that the „Gurhan„ kennel is young. Yes, it is, but we would like to notice, that our history is already eventful, both local value and on the Commonwealth of Independent States scale importance. Every wolfhound-breeder in the CIS knows about two duel meets Rambo v. Anchar at the CIS Championship. It is about us. So, here is our history, step by step…

Irkutsk, 2003, spring / 伊尔库茨克 .2003 年的春天

The foundation stone of the «Gurhan„ kennel was laid. The first group of four Asians lived in temporary wooden open-air cages in territory of the kennel, which was under construction. Eugenie Kashuba, the kennel’s founder, having analyzed situation with the Central Asian Ovcharka (CAO) breeding stock in Irkutsk and understood that it would be hopeless to breed wolfhounds using only local breeding stock, set out a search of fresh blood to Ossetia, the Caucasus. And legendary Hoda’s descendants arrived in Irkutsk.
At the same time Chelyabinsk dog-breeders made their contribution to our kennel’s breeding-stock. Two wolfhounds, Basmach and Orlan, were added.

在对城市中中亚牧羊犬的种族情况作分析之后，古尔汗饲养所的建立者 叶夫涅尼·卡舒伯意识到当地的种族资源没有前景，于是他决定到高加索和阿谢吉找新的种族血缘。就这样，在伊尔库茨克市出现了霍达族的猎犬。
同时，车里亚宾斯克市的犬饲养主也对我们的饲养所进行了投资。从他们的手上我们得又到了两种猎犬，巴斯曼奇和阿尔蓝。

07.07.2003 The first set of nine puppies (Tarzan /Bagira) was born. Two puppies, male dog Metis and female dog Altyn, stayed in the kennel, other puppies found their owners in Irkutsk and Angarsk.

2003 年 7 月 7 日第一窝 9 只幼犬崽出世了（达尔赞与 巴格拉的后代 ），其中留在饲养所的有公犬米季斯和母犬阿尔丹，其它的幼犬崽也在伊尔库茨克市和安哥拉斯克市找到了自己的主人。

09. 24.2003 Great! What a day! Since that day kennel of the domestic wolfhounds „Gurhan„ has been officially registered as a Cynologique organization.

2003 年 9 月 24 日 《古尔汉》犬类饲养所在犬类专业机构正式注册。在三次的„万岁„和酒杯的撞击声中俄罗斯《古尔汉》犬类饲养所正式成立了！

11.23.2003 For the first time the Domestic Wolfhounds Test Probation Tournament „the Wolfhound of Siberia 2003„ had been held in Irkutsk. Five pairs entered the competition.

02.23.2004 The second test tournament »Fatherland Defender 2004" took place. Six pairs participated in.

04.24.2004 Breakthrough! Rambo, the Caucasian wolfhound, made the cuts of Russian Championship: a victory over Amur in Mtsensk, Khan in Volgograd and Zabar in Moscow. And in the final Rambo won a victory over full-grown male dog Tugo and became the First Russian Champion 2004. It was very hard to get the first and the most important title in the„Gurhan„ kennel’s history.

05.25.2004 The second set of nine puppies (Basmach/Bagira) was born. Two puppies, male dog Doga and female dog Jana, stayed in the kennel, other puppies found their owners in Irkutsk and Shelekhov.

2004, Summer. The kennel construction was going on at full speed. Paddocks and stone walls were made; the ground was paved in stone blocks. At the same time a bench career of the dogs developed. As a result Basmach became the Russian Junior Champion, and Orlan became the Russian Exterior Champion.

09.02.2004 The third set of four puppies (Rambo/Bina) was born. Male dog Reagan and female dog Roxana stayed in the kennel, other puppies were sent to their new owners, one to Kemerovo, another to Krasnoyarsk.

2004 年 9 月 2 日第三窝 4 幼崽诞生了（莱姆鲍与宾娜的后代）。留在古尔汉的有公崽列以嘎和母崽洛克桑那。另两只幼崽送给了新的主人——一只到了克麦罗沃，另一只到了克拉斯诺亚尔斯克。

10.09.2004 Having gained the victory over Bashir (Mtsensk city), Rambo passed the first round of the CIS Championship in Slavyanogorsk, the Ukraine.

2004 年 10 月 9 日在乌克兰斯拉维扬果尔斯克市莱姆鲍战胜了姆岑斯克市的巴士尔通过了 独联体犬类冠军赛的第一轮参事。
10.30.2004 Ten pairs entered „The Wolfhound of Siberia 2004–2005„ Tournament, which became an annual fixture in the wolfhound-breeders calendar.

11.27.2004 There was the second round of the CIS Championship in Mtsensk. In a duel with Anchar (from Shakhty) Rambo came off second-best in the eyes of the judges, but too many people did not agree with their decision. We took an appeal.

01.22.2005 There was the second round of Rambo v. Anchar duel meet. After the test duel meet judges and fans splitted up into two groups, and Rambo quitted the CIS Championship 2005.

01.25.2005 We had two new little charges. They were forty-day brindle puppies Hector and Gurza (Samurai/Radmira).

02.19.2005 White with black spots male-dog Tsygan (Otash/Etna) from Novosibirsk joined them.

03.26.2005 There was the next tournament "The Wolfhound of Siberia". The „Siberian Championship 2005„ semifinal meet had been held as a part of the tournament (quod vide «Test»).

04.16.2005 Our champion Orlan took the САО National Breed Club Champion Candidate title at the mono-breed bench „Baikalskiy Zvezdopad„ in Irkutsk.

05.07.2005 New set of eight puppies (Bagram/Bagira, Chelyabinsk) was born. The out mating was in Chelyabinsk.

06.26.2005 There was an inauguration of new dog-training complex, which we built on the bank of the Angara River. It’s not exactly a trifle for Irkutsk dog-breeders!
Our congratulations to Hector and Porcha (Jasmine) on their successful debut at the „Baikal Cup„ bench!

10.01.2005 The First Eastern Siberia and The Far East Domestic Wolfhounds Test Probation Championship started successfully. The first elimination round had been held as a part of "The Wolfhound of Siberia 2005" tournament in Irkutsk (quod vide «Test»).

2005 年 10 月 1 日今天东西伯利亚远东犬类工作能力考核测试冠军赛成功召开。第一轮的预选赛在„ 2005 西伯利亚 捕狼大猎犬的竞赛 „春秋季赛事中已经进行了。

11.12.2005 Day of Fame! All participants of the tournament and also the Championship (the second round) demonstrated good activity and desire to show their achievements in test probation.
